Today's big deals: knits, knives, and BOGO kicks!
Don't wait to open this email, duh, that's why I'm sending it to you!
The Holiday Shop Hub is up to date and I want to flag the things you’ll want to know about:
Madewell started their Black Friday sale already with 30% off your purchase using code LETSGO. The small print: In 2021 and 2022, this discount went up to 40% off on Black Friday/Cyber Monday, but sizes weren’t well-stocked by then. It’s going to be a risk assessment for sure, and AFAIK they do not honor the 40% raincheck for people who purchased at 30%. Sale includes their leather jackets! Size up if you plan on layering!
Nisolo is doing a BOGO Free sale on some of their styles and the best hack is that the shoes do not need to be the same SIZE. So if you and your BFF want to buy two pairs of $250 boots and each pay $125 for your pair, I cannot stop you. I won’t even try to stop you! You cannot be stopped.
Made In Cookware was the *hit* of Friendsgiving because I bring a sort of “I will not be cooking but I brought you products that Michelin-star chefs use so you can cook (for me)” vibe to the function. The favs were: the stainless steel saucier for the cranberry sauce and the KNIVES. You know what most rental houses are lacking? GOOD KNIVES. You know what people say when you whip out a knife set at Friendsgiving when faced with potentially having to carve a turkey with a small dull steak knife? They say, “Wow, Caroline, once again, you are the smartest most brilliant person in this friend group! Maybe in the world!”
I don’t want to say I saved Friendsgiving by bringing this knife set but I think my friends would say that, and I wouldn’t argue with them.
Right now Made In’s Black Friday Sale has begun and you can get up to 30% off some of my favs (including the saucier! Including the knives!) along with many many other of their beloved-by-chefs-everywhere products. The first person who influenced me to buy Made In knives was — shout out — friend of the pod Serena Wolf, and you know we trust her with all things food.
Welcome to the Flagship, Sh*t That I Knit! Small, woman-owned business STIK makes the cutest knit hats and accessories (some of them even have detachable pom poms), but here’s what we love most about them: They employ hundreds artisans in Lima, Peru and pay them fairly so they can support their families. Many of their knitters are mothers, and they are able to knit from home while taking care of their children. 20% off exclusively for you in the Gee Thanks! Flagship.
And don’t forget, you have 20% off all your holiday card needs with code GEETHANKSHOLIDAY23 when you use Minted. Thanks for voting for the cards you liked the most in my stories — cannot wait to send them out.
Gee Thanks! appreciates its supporters, especially Alley Peplinski, Becca Sheaffer, Allie Nagy, Angi James, Lindsay Creech and Erin Gibson!
