This loud and chic luggage tag stands the test of checking a bag
It also makes a really good gift.
Hi Geezers!
About a year ago, a well-meaning gal grabbed my navy blue Away suitcase off the luggage conveyer at LAX and made it out to the shuttle bus line with it before she realized it wasn’t hers and brought it back to the conveyer. I know this because I saw her put the bag back on the belt, thought, oh that looks like my suitcase, and then when the bag passed me down the line I realized it was my suitcase.
Sure, I had a luggage tag on it at the time; it was black and my business card was inside the plastic protector sleeve.
You know who else has a navy blue Away suitcase with a black plastic luggage tag?
Everyone.
Problem solved: This snap-on embroidered luggage strap was a gift from my friend Leigh this past Christmas and I am so obsessed with it that I knew I needed to tell you all about it.
A friendly reminder that you don’t have to buy anything and nothing material will fill the dark crater of despair that comes with engaging with national and global headlines at all times. But if you want to pretend otherwise, I’m here to do the same. Gee Thanks! is an affiliate platform and earns a small commission when you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you.
As a frequent traveler, I now truly understand the importance of practical and reliable identification accessories, and this embroidered snap-on luggage tag has quickly become one of my must-haves.
It adds a unique flair to your belongings, making your luggage instantly recognizable and setting it apart from the sea of ordinary bags at airports and train stations. Whether you opt for your initials, a catchy phrase (think ironic boat’n’tote!) or a vibrant design, your stuff will stand out in a crowd and signal to others that, uh, hey, this isn’t your bag (trust me, that’s important!).
Plus, rough baggage handling to unpredictable weather conditions can often mess around with a handwritten luggage tag. An embroidered snap-on ensures that your important identification details remain intact throughout your journey. There's nothing worse than a damaged luggage tag that renders your contact information illegible. I mean, truly, what then is the point?
The front of mine has my name, the back has my IG handle. You could also put your phone number. I am going to order another one with my address. I am going to order a bazillion more actually, because I want everyone to have one.
Already making a note for next year’s stocking stuffer gift guide.
Speaking of travel!
If you’re not traveling to France anytime soon, you must get the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum with code GEETHANKS at Dermstore. (Thanks for sponsoring the newsletter, Dermstore!). This was a product I picked up in Paris at the recommendation of many of you, and since then I have absolutely fallen in love with it. My skin is legit glowing.
I was starting to desperately ration out my bottle until I found out our code can be used to get it for 15% off, and then I finished off my first bottle knowing a new one would be on its way. Take advantage!

That's the best luggage tag I've ever seen!
I honestly don't think I've ever ordered anything as quickly as I just did the luggage tag! One for me (hot pink on neon green) and one for my husband (white on red, he's traditional I guess). THANK YOU Caroline!
