48 products for parents that will make you say "OMFG THIS EXISTS?!"
Don't miss the buzz about the grossest product I have ever recommended here.
Hi Geezers!
I don’t have kids, but a lot of you do. I wanted to know the products you all use to make life with your littles easier, or at least a tad less messy, stressful, or overwhelming.
We got lots of fun feedback and culled together the most popular responses to create a shopping list full of products you won’t know how you lived without.
A friendly reminder that you don’t have to buy anything and nothing material will fill the dark crater of despair that comes with engaging with national and global headlines at all times. But if you want to pretend otherwise, I’m here to do the same. Gee Thanks! is an affiliate platform and earns a small commission when you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you.
Here are some of the things that caught my eye:
The UnbuckleMe: This little hack makes unbuckling stubborn seatbelts a dream. First debuted on Shark Tank, the UnbuckleMe works as an opener on all child car seat buckles (including infant rear-facing, convertible and booster seats that use a 5 point harness seat belt) and many strollers, high chairs and other push-button devices. Bonus: It was invented by an Occupational Therapist with thumb arthritis (who is also a Grandma of four) and her daughter, who is a nationally certified child passenger safety technician. ($25 for a pack of 2)
Solar Buddies: I hated sunscreen application as a kid and my mom probably hated it more. Solar Buddies are little fillable containers with sponge applicators to make sunscreen time less goopy and less miserable. I would literally use this on myself! Forget kids! ($24 for a pack of 2)
The (“THE!”) Barf Bags: I have never gotten so many messages about such an unsexy product. They are compact and secure, with a top that seals so even when sickness happens in transit, things (ahem) are contained. One mom pointed out that it’s a really good way to help prevent the spread of germs, another said she has one in her bag and her car at all times. One vomit-covered couch, comforter, or carseat is all it takes to become a fan of these for life. ($28 for 100)
I hope this list helps you find something you love!
